The Triangle's Only Authentic Irish Kitchen

Award-winning Irish pub and restaurant in North Raleigh, led by the only Irish chef in the Triangle.

About Us

Over 2,300 guests have weighed in, and the verdict is clear: Trali Irish Pub & Restaurant earns its 4.6-star reputation one pint and plate at a time. Named Best Irish Pub in North Carolina by Tasting Table, this is not a theme bar with shamrock wallpaper and frozen shepherd's pie. The food here comes from an actual Irish kitchen, helmed by the only Irish chef working in the Triangle.

Situated at 10370 Moncreiffe Rd in North Raleigh, Trali draws a crowd that ranges from expats chasing a taste of home to locals who have simply discovered that proper Irish cooking hits differently than anything else in the city. The atmosphere earns the word "cozy" honestly: low light, good noise, a bar worth sitting at, and staff who remember your order.

This is the kind of place you bring visiting family, watch a big match, book out for a private party, or simply land on a Tuesday when you need a real meal and a proper drink. The hospitality is not performed. It is the point.

What We Offer

Trali covers the full range, whether you are stopping in solo or bringing a group of twenty. Restaurant dining runs seven days a week, with the kitchen turning out authentic Irish dishes prepared by a chef who actually grew up eating them. The bar program is exactly what a gastropub should be: serious about its pours and easy to spend an evening at.

Beyond the daily dining experience, Trali offers catering, private party booking, and reservations for those who want to lock in their table before the crowd arrives. Live sports viewing makes match days a destination, and gift cards are available for the person in your life who deserves a genuinely good meal. If you are planning an event and want food that will actually impress your guests, the catering option is worth a conversation.

Why Choose Us

Named Best Irish Pub in North Carolina by Tasting Table, a credential no other Triangle pub can claim.

The only Irish chef in the Triangle leads the kitchen, bringing authenticity that goes beyond the menu.

4.6 stars across more than 2,300 reviews reflects a consistency that is genuinely hard to sustain.

Open seven days a week, with evening hours on Monday and late-night hours Tuesday through Saturday.

Private party booking and catering available for events that deserve more than standard restaurant fare.

Live sports viewing, gift cards, and reservations make Trali practical for every kind of occasion.

"We love a proper Irish pub, and Trali definitely fills the bill. Cozy pub atmosphere, delicious pub food, excellent service. Shout out to Vanessa! Pro tip: do not miss the spice bag. Weird name for a delicious Irish dish with potatoes, peppers, crispy chicken and curry dipping sauce. Fish and chips are also excellent. We didn't have room for dessert, but they all looked amazing. If you're looking for an authentic pub experience--at least in RDU, definitely recommend."

"I really wanted to love this place — I’m a big fan of Irish restaurants — but the food just didn’t deliver. Everything we tried (clam chowder, chicken pot pie, crispy buttermilk chicken) was surprisingly bland. The saving grace was the crème brûlée donut, which was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Also, huge shoutout to our server Lisa, who was fantastic: warm, attentive, and genuinely made the experience better."

"I used to come to Tralí more often when I lived closer big haven't been in years. Hibernian North Raleigh has always answered the call. Today I brought my family after a long time. I was a bit shocked that our experience was so "meh". Aside from my son's chicken tenders nobody was thrilled about their dinners. I saw that several people raved about the Chicken Welly and was excited to try it. Unfortunately it was very bland. My Gallway chowder was good but over in about 6 spoonfuls. For $6 they could've at least filled the small bowl. I didn't see a single piece of fish in there either but big pieces of potato and veggies. My wife's chicken sandwich looked terrible. I felt bad for her as this was her first meal back after a long business trip. I honestly don't know if we'll be back but the place was packed and seems to do well. Interior and service are always very good."

"Favorite restaurant in the area, by a landslide! From the fantastic food, the homey authentic Irish atmosphere, the crowd that’ll rally for a premier league soccer match, or the outstanding customer service - you immediately feel right at home. I’d recommend the Irish egg rolls, beetroot and goat cheese salad, Caesar (homemade dressing), fish and chips, shepard’s pie, Guinness burger, anything on the rotating seasonal menu… but you certainly can’t go wrong with anything here. Especially when paired with a thoughtfully poured Guiness! A true regular’s bar at night. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to fall in love with a local pub and plan on revisiting often!"
